Waitlist privacy notice
Last updated 21 October 2026. This notice covers the waitlist and newsletter on previafamily.com. The Previa Family app has its own Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, which you'll see before you create an account.
Who runs the waitlist
Previa Family, Inc. (in formation). Its incorporation in Delaware is being completed; until then, its founder, Yash Jain, runs the waitlist on its behalf and transfers it to the company when the incorporation completes. Contact: support@previafamily.com.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- The country you live in.
- Which phone you use, if you tell us.
- Whether you want the newsletter.
With these we keep: the consents you gave, with the time and the version of the wording; whether and when you confirmed your email or changed your choices; the campaign tags in the link you arrived from (utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign), if it had any; and a one-way, salted fingerprint of your IP address, used to stop automated abuse and nothing else. We don't store the IP address itself.
We collect no health information on this website. The form has no health questions. The demos run in your browser on made-up data and send nothing to us.
Why we use it
- To send one email asking you to confirm your address (double opt-in).
- After you confirm, to email you about Previa's launch: your invitation, your free month and how to install it.
- To apply the launch offer to the email address you confirmed.
- To send the newsletter, if you chose it.
- To plan the launch by country and phone type, and to see which channels bring people to the waitlist.
- To keep the form safe from bots and repeated sign-ups.
We use it because you asked us to (your consent), and to keep the service secure. We never sell it and never use it for advertising. The site has no advertising pixels, trackers or analytics cookies.
Where it is stored, and who processes it
- Supabase stores the waitlist, in the United States.
- Vercel hosts the website, runs the sign-up form and checks sign-up requests for bots.
- Resend sends our emails. Open and click tracking is turned off.
Each processes the data on our instructions and for no other purpose, under their standard data protection terms.
If you email us, your message reaches our inbox through Cloudflare Email Routing and is kept in our email account, hosted by Google.
Your details are stored and processed in the United States. For people in the UK and the EU, our providers' data protection terms include safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
Who can join
The waitlist and the Previa Family app are for adults. Please don't sign up if you're under 18.
How long we keep it
- If you never confirm your email, we delete the sign-up after 30 days.
- If you leave both the launch emails and the newsletter, we delete your details 30 days later.
- Otherwise, until 12 months after the Previa Family app launches in full, unless you join the app.
- If you ask us to delete your details, we do it straight away. We then keep a scrambled form of your address only so we never email you again.
Your choices
- Every email from us has a link to change your choices or delete your details, and a one-click unsubscribe.
- You can also ask to see, correct or delete your details by writing to support@previafamily.com. We'll reply within 30 days.
- If you live in the UK, the EU or another place with a data protection authority, you can also complain to it.
Changes
If we change this notice in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell confirmed subscribers by email.
